Linda Kazuko Kodama's Obituary
Linda Kodama Obituary
On the morning of June 19th 2019, Linda Kazuko Kodama unexpectedly passed away in Ewa Beach. She left as she would have wanted, quietly and peacefully. Kazuko, the eldest of five siblings, was raised in Tokyo and dreamed of singing opera. After the war she met a soldier with the occupational army who would become her husband. Soon after marrying the couple relocated to Hawaii and settled in Waipahu. Over the years they were blessed with two daughters, Karen and Kathy. To help ferry the children and keep up with a busy life, Kazuko learned to drive a stick shift automobile. Many years later, she retired from Polynesian Casuals as a seamstress. Travel, pool aquatics and ikebana filled her retirement years. She is preceded in death by her husband Kaoru Kodama. They are together in Peace. ~ Private services were held.
