Lindberth Miguel Obituary
Lindberth P. Miguel, known as Lind, passed away on December 04, 2020 in Glendale, California at the age of 71.
Lind was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and left the islands in 1967 after graduating from Farrington High School. He worked in silk screening shops, in retail at Kress Drugstore, then in 1974 he began working at the Los Angeles Times Newspaper for 25 years before retiring.
After many years of volunteering and after retiring from the LA Times he began working for the Los Angeles Recreation and Parks. He worked with many parents and kids and remained as a mentor to many and always made himself available for all that needed his help.
Besides volunteering at many recreation centers in Los Angeles, he was a constant volunteer at schools in the City of Pasadena in California for his grandchildren’s schools.
Lind is survived by his wife Connie of 50 years, his daughter Leilani, his son Martin and grandchildren Brendan and Brianna.
He left behind his siblings, Lillian Alcaraz, Patricia Miguel, Virginia Duclayan, Darlene Manuel, Robert Miguel, Rueben Miguel, Lurline Ejercito, Debra Caluya, Judith Miguel, Catherine Takeuchi, many in laws, nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in in death by his parents Joseph Miguel Sr. and Judith Miguel, as well as siblings Lucille Miguel, Gloria Jaramillo, and Joseph Miguel Jr.
Burial service to take place on July 23, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Mililani Memorial Park.
