LIWAI NAPUELUA JR., 69 of Waianae, passed away on March 22, 2019 in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii.
He is survived by his wife Victoria Napuelua; sons, Liwai (Chasity) Napuelua III and Layne (Poni) Napuelua; daughters Kim Hanohano, Kanani Napuelua and Kari Napuelua; hanai daughters, Sherlet Tavares and Suzie Tavares; mother Almar Napuelua; brother Lowell (Lillian) Napuelua; sisters Sheila (Bobby) Whitworth, Sharlene Teer, Sheena Napuelua and Sherilyne (Henry) Pali; 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Kelly Spencer; father Liwai Napuelua; sisters, Sharon (Allen) Bodine and Sherlet (Richard) Tavares; adopted brother Michael Bodine-Napuelua; hanai siblings Mary Don Kahele, William "Nui" Kahele, Jr. and Hiram Kahele.
Visitation will be at 9:30 am Thursday May 16, 2019 at Mililani Memorial Park & Mortuary's Mauka Chapel. Funeral service to follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be 9:00 am Monday May 20, 2019.
