Loanna Marie Kealoha Haae (Loha), passed away on November 5, 2024 at the age of 83. Born on May 14, 1941 in Honolulu, Hawaii, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Gladys Chong. She is predeceased by her husband Wilfred N. Haae and sister Marsha Lou Haae. Survived by her daughter Marlo P. Cloutier (Dave), grandchildren Mallory Ringrose (Sam) and Samantha Cloutier. Great grandchildren Ethan and Cameron. Her brother Howard Chong Jr. and sisters Pamela Hoopii (Donald), Leolani MaeleKapowai (Casey), Lydia (Bobby), and Laura Taketa (Dale) including many of her nieces and nephews, grand and great grandnieces and nephews.
She graduated from Waipahu High School and from Cannon's Business College. She retired after 26 years from National Mortgage and Finance as an Executive Secretary. Continued to work at the Sears Distribution Center for 2 yrs. as a Payroll Clerk, and retired after 26 years from City & County of Honolulu, Pearl City Police Department as a Payroll Clerk. Loha lived a life of service for the Lord and served as a Deacon. She earned a degree in Theology and had a Ministry for 9 years. She also found her passion and purpose in life by playing the piano and spending numerous hours with her siblings.
Loha will be remembered for her kindness, humbleness, generosity, intelligence and humor. She was so caring to so many family members and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Loha requested a private service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. An organization Loanna felt strongly about.
