LORRAINE VIOLET SMITH
September 24, 1935 - January 7, 2022
Lorraine Violet Smith Lived a Full life of 86 years passing away peacefully at her home in Waimanalo on January 7, 2022.
Lorraine was a beautiful soul and was loved by all who knew her. She was the eldest sibling of six. Growing up on her dads dairy farm in Waimanalo life was good and Lorraine was happy.
Lorraine Graduated from Armstrong College in Berkeley, California with a degree as a private secretary. Married her husband of of 65 years Robert Smith , had 5 children and retired from Mokapu Elementary in Kaneohe.
Lorraine loved Gardening and talking story about her growing up years. We will always remember the way Lorraine has touched our lives. She will live forever in our memories.
She is survived by her daughter Sharon Naipo (Mark), Son’s… George Smith (Brenda), Roy Smith, Clayton Smith (Karen) and Allen Smith (Lisa).
Brother Richard Teixeira (Kathy), Sisters… Sylvia Barros (Francis), Kathleen Larsen (Dave), and Pearl Tavaras (Adam).
Thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Pre-deceased by husband Robert Smith, Parents John Teixeira and Violet Teixeira and Brother Tommy.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday April 5th at Saint John Vianney Parish; 920 Keolu Drive, Kailua. Visitation 9:30 am ~ 10:30 am. Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Bentos will be served on Patio directly after Mass Burial to fallow 1:00 pm at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery 45-349 Kamehameha Hwy Kaneohe.
