Lorraine Yonashiro, 80, passed away in the Pali Momi ER on July 1, 2022. She was born in Hilo, HI on November 15, 1941.
She graduated from Hilo High & University of Hawaii with a Teaching Degree, and was a teacher at Hilo High, Waiakea High & Moanalua High schools. She enjoyed traveling with many trips to Las Vegas annually, visited several major countries in Europe, Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, Alaska Cruises, Okinawa, and numerous trips to Taiwan, Japan & Hokkaido.
She is survived by husband Stanley (married October 8, 1963); daughters, Rochelle (Ross) Hironaka, Roxann (Kevin) Chong; and grandchildren, Dalton Hironaka, Ripken & Kiersten Chong; and brothers, James & Wayne Saito.
Private services were held.
