To the family:I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that God is the God of comfort, he knows you are grieving the loss of a loved one. In the Bible we are told to throw all that pains us on God. At Psalms 55:22 there it says "Throw your burden on God, and he will sustain you. NEVER will he allow the righteous one to fall." God is our father, he does not lie. So you can be assured that if you pray to him, he will give you the strength to get through this painful time. But, God also tells us that soon all sickness, pain, and death will be a thing of the past. He tells us at Revelation 21:4 "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore, the former things have passed away." How happy we all will be to be able to look forward to such a blessing.
