Lydia Colcol Tumacder, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025, in Stockton, California, at the age of 89.
Born in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, Lydia devoted her life to caring for others. After earning her degree in the medical field, she served her community as a midwife and nurse. In 1971, she immigrated to the United States, settling in Hawaii, where she continued her vocation in healthcare. She worked with compassion and dedication as a nurse’s aide at Beverly Manor Convalescent Center in Honolulu until her retirement.
In 2016, Lydia moved to Stockton to be closer to her son and his family, embracing her role as a loving matriarch and source of wisdom. She was admired for her quiet strength, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Lydia was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Tumacder, and is survived by her youngest brother Nemesio Colcol; her son, Arnold Campos; and daughters Mediatrix Lindstrom, Cammi Burdiez, Catherine Campos, and Alma Tumacder. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward her legacy of kindness and resilience.
Wake Service will be held on Sunday, January 04, 2026 at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel. Visitation begins at 5:30 pm and service 6:30 pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 05, 2026 at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel. Visitation begins at 8:00 am and service 8:30 am.
Burial to follow, 10:00 am at Mililani Memorial Park Cemetery.
