Magdalena Imperio Ramos' Obituary
Magdalena Imperio Ramos, 85, of Waipahu, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, May 8, 2026. She was born in Sinait, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, to Feliciano Imperio and Maria Yabes, and was the youngest of four siblings. She will be remembered for her kindhearted soul, her strong faith, and her nice and caring nature.
Magdalena was a dedicated worker throughout her life. She served as a housekeeper at the Ala Moana Hotel and a cook at Elena’s Restaurant when they were first located at Pearlridge. She also worked as a cook at Shiro’s in Waimalu and as a factory worker producing jerky at Jungle Jerky. Eventually, she found her perfect match working as a TSA agent at the airport.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Lolito Ballesteros Ramos; son, Raymond (Marlyn "Marla" Idica-Ramos) Ramos; and daughter, Shirley (Estan) Ramos-Reynon. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren: Colin, Jayden, Lorelai, Christian Alika Ramos, Nicholas, Jordan, and Caleb Reynon.
