Manuel T. Puri's Obituary
Manuel T. Puri was born in Cangatba Porac Pampanga, Philippines on June 27, 1932 and went to be with the Lord on August 19, 2025, at the age of 93.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Catalina Q. Puri, who went to be with the Lord on October 06, 1997.
Manuel is lovingly remembered by his children: Noel Puri (wife Maria Luisa), Manuelito Puri (wife Regina) and daughters, Cecinia Tanhueco (husband Romeo), Maria Stephens (husband Scott), Jovita Puri, Marisa Dinneen (husband Michael), and Michelle Cruz (husband Roderick).
He was blessed with eighteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren who will forever cherish his memory.
Manuel completed college courses in Commerce and worked for the United States Air Force in the laundry at Clark Air Base in the Philippines. He later worked as a government employee for the Municipality of Angeles City before moving to Hawaii in 1999. There he joined the janitorial staff at Schofield Barracks Post Laundry Service, where he worked faithfully until his retirement in 2010 at the age of 79.
Manuel will be remembered as a kind and gentle man, known for his warm smile and the gracious words he shared with everyone he met.
