Marcelina Domingo Pascual's Obituary
Marcelina Pascual Obituary
Our beloved matriarch, Marcelina (Cely) Domingo Pascual, 97 died of natural causes November 12, 2021, at her home in Waipahu. She was born January 14, 1924 in Laoag, Philippines, the daughter of Feliza and Bernardo Domingo.
Cely was married to Paulo Isidro Pascual on June 14, 1948 until he passed on December 5, 2002. She retired from the Convalescent Center of Honolulu at age 62. Thereafter, for decades she was a shrewd businesswoman and ran her Filipino dessert business out of her home serving the island’s Filipino community with her delicious desserts. Her greatest pride is her family. To her family, her home was the spoke of the wheel. Her home was the pit stop for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren as her family members were constantly in and out of her home for casual snacks or meals almost every day of the week. Cely was the glue that held the family together and she often times hosted family gatherings for special occasions and holidays.
She is survived by:
8 children: Francis (Linda) Pascual, Jean Pascual, Tessie (Nestor) Felipe, Tammy (Eugene) Kaya, Cora (Virgil) Banda, Juanita Pascual (deceased), Christy (Robert) Aguinaldo, Ronie (Christine) Pascual, and Junefer (Richard) Silva.
