Dear Espiritu Family,
Our family was so shocked to hear the news of your father's passing. And just as shocked when we recently heard of your mom's passing. We are all so sorry for your enormous grief and for the trying time that must come from this sensational difficulty.
I haven't seen your parents since I was very young. But the heartbreak and tears flow even so, knowing they have moved into Heaven. These "happy" tears are filled with joy in knowing how much more wonderful heaven is with them there.
Both, your Dad and your Mom, are beautiful inside and out. Having a short time of being around them here, they engraved a lasting impression for a lifetime in my heart. Not many individuals can do that, yet BOTH, have done so. They showed us love, gentleness, and made us laugh and smile so often. Our families have had many wonderful memories together. They were truly God's gift to all of us, uniquely wrapped for each of our circumstances.
I'm praying for all of you! I have seen grief destroy families and I have seen grief renew families. I have seen families blame God and I have seen families embrace God. I lovingly pray that you continually Trust In Him! He is everywhere and can be found in anyone.
As I read my devotional today, He shared this with me and I'd love to share it with you...
"Seek Me ... I desire to be found by you, and I orchestrate the events of your life with that purpose in mind. When things go well and you are blessed, you can feel Me smiling on you. When you encounter rough patches along your life-journey, trust that My Light is still shining upon you. My reasons for allowing these adversities may be shrouded in mystery, but My continual Presence with you is an absolute promise. Seek Me in good times; seek Me in hard times. You will find Me watching over you all the time."
