Margaret Kimiko Maze Wilson
March 16, 1958 – October 30, 2019
MARGARET KIMIKO MAZE WILSON passed away at home in Waipahu, Hawai’i on Wednesday, October 30, 2019. Born on March 16, 1958, she was the youngest daughter of eight siblings.
Daughter of Walter Maze and Lillian Yuriko Sakihama Maze, she grew up in Halawa with her seven siblings Walter, Thomas, Donald, John, Norma, Jennifer, and Renee.
Margaret was a proud graduate of ‘Aiea High School Class of 1976. In 1985, she met Jonathan Wilson of Waipahu whom she married on September 24, 1990 and had two daughters, Yuriko and Kimiko. Through their marriage, they raised Jamie Kaipo Young, MaileJean Tsuneo, Kelley Mitchell.
Margaret was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt loved by her family and friends. She will forever be missed.
Preceded in death by her parents Walter Maze and Lillian Yuriko Sakihama Maze. She is survived by her husband of 29 years Jonathan Wilson, children Yuriko (Alonzo) Toms, Kimiko Wilson, Jamie Kaipo Young, MaileJean Tsuneo, Kelley (Jerry) Mitchell; brother’s Walter (Anita) Maze, Thomas (Sheldene) Maze, Donald (Linda) Maze, John (Marlene) Maze; sister’s Norma (Spencer) Machado, Jennifer (Roger) Soucie, Renee (Curtis) Villamor; grandson Colburn Manai; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Margaret’s Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel, at 5:00PM. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
