My prayers, sympathies, and condolences to the bereaved family and friends of Mariano.
Mariano and I served together at the Fleet Integrated Logistics Overhaul Team, Pearl Harbor (FLTILOTEAM Pearl Harbor) 1988-1991. He was one of the finest and most professional sailors I've served with. I remember him as a quiet and unassuming individual who always had a ready smile for everyone and one of the valued members of our team who consistently got the job done quickly and accurately!
We also worked together at DLA Distribution, Pearl Harbor as federal civilian employees.
I will forever cherish his memory, and definitely miss him. May God forever keep him in His bosom and sustain those he left behind in these difficult and trying times.
