Marie Concepcion Esperanza's Obituary
With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Marie Concepcion Esperanza, who passed away on June 7, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on August 10, 1942, Marie was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
She was the heart of her family, known for her selfless love, generous spirit, and unwavering devotion to her children. Her love, kindness, and warmth
will be cherished forever by all who knew her.
Marie found great joy in watching her grandchildren take part in their many activities,including baseball, football, boxing, and ballet. She also enjoyed her favorite snacks and Korean dramas—often together. Marie loved to travel, especially on cruises, and had the opportunity to visit numerous countries around the world. She remained sharp, curious, and eager to learn, embracing technology and proving that age was never a barrier to trying something new.
Marie is survived by her daughters, Lisa Mau (Mike) and Carmen Caravalho (Derek); her son, Jonathan Esperanza (Karen); her grandchildren, Joshua (Naomi), Jordan, Mycah, Makoa, Logan, Cagen, and Madison; and her great-granddaughter, Cali Rose.
A Celebration of Life will be held on July 23, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of
Perpetual Help in Ewa Beach. Family and friends are warmly invited to join us as we honor and celebrate Marie’s life.
