A heartwarming memory I will always have of her is that she gave the BEST hugs anytime I would see her! I loved that the most about her and I never wanted her hugs to end! Mary was our SASA at Kamaile Elementary during my first teaching assignment; she ruled the roost with strength, humor and the right kind of fierceness. Mary was special.
