Merlinda "Joy" Miranda Obituary
MERLINDA "JOY" MIRANDA, 60, of Waipahu, Hawaii passed away on March 24, 2018 in Aiea. She was born in San Jacinto, Pangasinan, Philippines. Joy retired as a USA Immigration Officer on December 29, 2017. She loved gardening, shopping and traveling. Joy is survived by her husband, Joven Miranda; daughters, Kristina C. Miranda and Diana A. Miranda; brothers, Judy (Lita) Parocha and Virgilio (Wilma) Parocha; sisters, Flordeliza (Paquito) Caaya and Gemma (Michael) DeGuzman; and sister-in-law, Leonor Parocha.
Visitation and Prayer Services for Joy will be held at Mililani Memorial Park and Mortuary's Makai Chapel, on Tuesday, May 22nd, 2018. Visitation will begin at 5:30 pm followed by the Prayer Service and Family Program at 6:30 pm.
On the following day, Wednesday, May 23, 2018, Visitation and Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 99-312 Moanalua Road, Aiea, Hawaii 96701. Visitation begin at 10:00 am and Mass will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at 12:30 pm at Mililani Memorial Park, section RR.
