Oh my goodness I just found out today about Mike passing from my Mom. I'm so sorry for his family and the world to loose such a wonderful person who cared deeply for almost everyone he met. I say "almost everyone" because sometimes he could spot that someone was a stinker when the rest of us thought the person was okay.

I think one of my favorite memories of my "old" neighbor Mike was when he met my boyfriend Mike who a few short years later became my husband. David might remember his Dad grilling my boyfriend in the their living room as their dog tried to pretend he was a lap dog and our Mother's were cracking up about the whole situation in the kitchen "quietly" which you know they weren't 😉.

May the many wonderful memories of Mike put a smile on your face as your family traverses this upcoming holiday season.

What I remember about Mike, is when you used to call me, " my dear brother-in-law". It felt so sincere and I really appreciated it. Mike was that kind of person as the expression goes, " holds the world in a paper cup". He could do everything that you could imagine, from painting museum quality replication to of course fix anything mechanical. I remember when he first bought a boat, we went boating. The ride was long, all the way to Catalina on choppy water. All of us got sick but we endured and had a great time coming back to shore.I will miss him immensely. He is in a better place now.

Will miss you terribly my dear brother of mine and may you rest in peace.My fondest memory of you is your sweet laugh, your call asking how I am doing. Your letters from you when you were in the Air Force, always ending with "Your brother who loves you". Your help in teaching me how to drive and at the last minute tell me to enter the freeway knowing I was scared but had to learn!!!Your help in getting my first car (a Pinto!!) by checking if it would run ok!I'm so sorry you had to suffer so much with your illness, and wished we lived closer to each other.I will be there for David, who loves you and cared for you when you were sick as a good son should.Please say hello to Theresa and our loved ones.Always in my heart dear brother and in my thoughts! Your sister who loves you...Caroline
