Milagros Rosario Llamelo Obituary
Milagros “Mila” Rosario Llamelo (née: Milagros Rivera Rosario), 67, of Waipahu, Hawaii was called home to the Lord on September 10, 2024. She was born on December 12, 1956 in Quezon City, Philippines. She is survived by her beloved husband, Francisco “Frank” C. Llamelo, and her devoted mother, Carlina R. Rosario along with her many cherished relatives and loving friends.
Mila shared her aloha spirit with everyone she encountered during her years in customer service at various companies, including Bishop Museum, Products of Hawaii, and Food Pantry. Her tenacity also led her to become an active member of the Filipino community, where she held leadership roles as Secretary of the Surong Valley Association of Hawaii (SURVA) and later served as President from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, she became the first president of the Bago International Association of Hawaii from 2018 to 2020. She will always be remembered by those whose lives she touched.
We warmly invite all family and friends to join us in honoring the life of Mila during her funeral services. A one-day service will be held on October 21, 2024, at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Pearl City. Public viewing will begin at 9:30 AM, followed by the service. Burial will take place at Mililani Cemetery in Waipio at 1:30 PM. Together, let us celebrate the legacy of an extraordinary woman whose genuine relationships touched so many. We look forward to seeing you there.
