Mildred Thomas Obituary
Mildred “Millie” Thomas
November 26, 1940 – January 8, 2022
She was kind. She was selfless. She loved unconditionally. She was the best Mom, Grandma, and Tutu. After a long battle with dementia, Millie passed away peacefully on January 8, 2022, with her granddaughter by her side. She was 81.
Millie was born and raised in Waipahu. She worked for the Department of Education as a lunch clerk and custodian for over 25 years. Fun fact, she loved her job and friends, and would have been there much longer if her health had not declined.
She is survived by her husband Alipio “Al” Thomas; sons, John (Sandra), Steven, and Matthew (Napua); daughters, Clarice Pacatang (Michael), and Julie; sister, Jeanette Figueroa; brothers, Paul Gonsalves (Naomi), Thomas Gonsalves, Jeffery Gonsalves (Beverly), and Daniel Gonsalves; 15 grandchildren and 17 greatgrandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services to be held on Friday, April 8, 2022, at Mililani Memorial Park & Mortuary – Mauka Chapel. Visitation begins at 5:30 pm, Funeral Service and program at 6:30pm. Burial will take place on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 10:00am
