She is survived by her daughter Margaret (Milton) Yafuso; son Greg (Cathy) Tanida; sisters Lori F. Kagawa, Masae Sugai, Katherine Y. (David) Tallman; brother Roy Shinsato; grandchildren Christine (Mark) Yamamoto, Marlene Yafuso, Gary Tanida, Corie Tanida; great-grandchildren Aitlin and Natalie Yamamoto.
