Myles Nakashima Obituary
Myles Nakashima, husband, father, grandfather and beloved friend to many, passed away surrounded by loved ones on February 1, 2025 at the age of 77.
He is survived by his wife, Charline Nakashima, son, Cory (Hina) Nakashima, daughter, Jenni (Matthew) Heintz, granddaughter, Miya Nakashima, and grandson, Michael Heintz.
Myles graduated from Leilehua High School and enjoyed his decades of service at Hawaiian Electric Company. Following his retirement, he found great joy in baby sitting his two grandchildren and traveling overseas, especially to Japan. His favorite places to visit in Japan was Kuramon market in Osaka as he loved their grilled scallops and wagyu beef, and venturing to Inecho to spend the night at the funaya with friends.
Celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025 at the Mililani Memorial Park Mauka Chapel.
Visitation begins at 10:30am, and service at 11:30am.
All are welcome. Casual attire, especially vibrant golf polo shirts.
