Nathan Hung Lun Yuen's Obituary
With a heavy heart we announce that Nathan Hung Lun Yuen, age 66, passed away peacefully at home on June 6, 2026 surrounded by family. He was a beloved son, husband and father whose presence will be forever missed. Nathan was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on August 14, 1959, to Jeannie Yuen and the late Dai Chee Yuen.
Known to be a hard worker throughout his life, Nathan started his own business "JnJ The Food and Beverage Store" located in Aiea, Hawaii back in 1996. It is through this business that he made many friends and connections along the way. Many of those who knew him would say that he was kind, compassionate, selfless and willing to help anyone in need. Those qualities are what brightened the lives of everyone who knew him.
In addition to his father, Nathan was preceded in death by his sister Roxane Yun and brother Patrick Yuen. Nathan is survived by his mother Jeannie Yuen, wife Julie Yuen, daughters Alyssa and Ezri Yuen, sister Penelope Saruwatari and brother John Yuen. He also leaves behind his brother-in-law Norman Saruwatari, and nephews Ryan Saruwatari and Nicholas Yun.
A viewing service in honor of Nathan's life will take place at Mililani Mortuary Downtown on Monday June 29, 2026 from 9am to 1pm. We invite all those who knew and loved Nathan to join us in honoring his memory.
