Nicholas Trilles Tyler II has passed away on June 17, 2024 at the age of 75, due to complications. Nicholas who was born on November 16, 1948 to Christy and Agnes Tyler in Honolulu, Hawaii. Nicholas was a proud graduate of Waianae high school. He then was enlisted in the air force until 1972. He and his then wife moved back home to Hawaii where they later started a little family of their own with his wife giving birth to their only child together, his daughter Lelai Lani.
Nicholas then began his career working for the Gas Company as a pipe fitter in 1972 and ending his time with the Gas Company as a pipe fitter supervisor until he finally retired in 2010 at the of age 62.
Once he had retired, he began dedicating his time being there for his 3 grandchildren. He enjoyed taking his grandson to football practice and attended all his football games. He also enjoyed going out to eat at various different restaurants and taking his grandchildren and great grandchildren along.
During this time, he also came back into his faith as a baptized Jehovahs Witness. He dedicated his time attending weekly meetings and doing his preaching work on most days with his fellow brothers and sisters within the Nanakuli Congregation.
Nicholas Tyler was the fine example of what it truly means to spread ALOHA. He was kind & generous in every way. His true passion was always to be able to give to others in anyway. He enjoyed mostly spending time with his Ohana. He loved playing his guitar while being at home relaxing and he loved going out to eat at all the restaurants here on Oahu. He would spend many evenings at home cooking his favorite foods like spare ribs beef stew or fried fish. Weekends were spent lounging around at home watching his favorite movies or watching football during football season.
Nicholas Tyler is survived by his Daughter Lelai Lani Pagan, his 3 grandchildren Mellow Tyler, Niko Pagan, Lisa Pagan. He has 4 great grandchildren; Kailea Victor, Zancetan Pagan-Bremer, Zakai Pagan-Bremer and Luxuree Cabral Pagan. Nicholas had 4 brothers Scotty Mertens, Christy Tyler Jr, Charles Tyler, Russell Tyler, and his sister Sharon Valdez, all whom preceded Nicholas in death, making Nicholas the last of his siblings. Nicholas also has many nieces and nephews across Hawaii and California.
