Writing to you to wish you a "Happy 57th Birthday!" You were born over an hour ago on Valentine's Day of 1969. In a matter of 7 days is when you went to Heaven among the rest of our beloved family.
A few weeks ago, we had lunch with Cindy at Sera's, it took 5 years getting together but it was worth it. We had a wonderful time with her; she's good company and fun to be around. I took a shell lei for her and in return she gave us fresh orchard leis. When we came home from the Kahala Hotel, I put the leis on your and 'Alohi pictures.
I tried to log onto your Facebook account, but it seems to have disappeared. Not happy about it. All your pictures, etc. on your FB account.
It now 1:11 a.m., I just finished submitting what feels like 100 or so testimonies to the legislature committees for the upcoming hearings. Something adventures to do, time consuming, but educational.
Kaimi has a son that is 8 months old, that makes Alohi a grandmother.
Mililani has been silent almost 5 years! Unexplainable.
I almost forgot, Karl was in town to help his sister move her son to the mainland. We had breakfast at Denny's in Kapolei. We had a great time, he "misses" you a lot, like us. He spoke highly of you and the good times. He is now fully retired. Jon Amano moved to Washington State. Karl was surprised.
Last weekend, we had heavy winds, down trees, missing roof shingles and more. Our house almost 50 years is still standing but she is need of repairs.
January 23, Dad and I celebrated our 55th wedding anniversary. We spent some quite time at Kahala Hotel. I tried a new drink called Hana Hou, it was smooth and refreshing.
I still have your deflated balloons from your last birthday at your house. No update on the house.
There's not a day that goes by that we don't think of you.
Dad is sound asleep, I think I should the same. I am very disappointed that I was not able to log onto your FB account. Hopeful I get better luck later on today, it is Saturday, Feb. 14th Valentine's Day. The florists super bowl of red roses deliveries. Super Bowl 60, Seahawks over the Patriots, mainly field goals. Bad Bunny half-time entertainment, 136 million tv viewers.
