Norma Acob's Obituary
Norma Acob was born on June 7, 1952, and passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026, surrounded by love. She was the beloved partner of 25 years to Christina Martinovic.
Norma lived with a loving heart so big it wrapped around everyone she knew. She was our rock, always there first for Christina, her wife, then for her family and her community. She was a great boss at Commodity Forwarders, Inc. in Honolulu, where she cared deeply for all her employees. Even after she retired, she stayed connected with them, ready with help, a talk, or just a listening ear whenever they needed her. With quiet strength and endless giving, she lifted people up no matter what weight she carried herself. That’s how she wanted to live and be remembered: the steady one with a loving heart who made us all feel safe and cared for.
She leaves behind her devoted wife, Christina Martinovic; her rascal fur baby, Zacharie; and her siblings: Roger Orevillo, Carmen Fontes, Ernest Orevillo, Caroline Roque, Arsenio Acob Jr., and Sandra Acob.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Arsenio Acob and Evelyn Sanoria, and her siblings: Eugene Orevillo, Jeffrey Acob, Mildred Morante, Soledad Tagalicod, Judith Marion, Olympia Bachiller, and Frances Aiona.
A visitation and mass will be held at Resurrection of the Lord in Waipahu on April 10, 2026, followed by a celebration of life fellowship. In lieu of flowers, monetary contributions to support Christina and Zacharie may be made at https://venmo.com/code?user_id=2494777295634432155...
Norma’s loving heart stays with every person she held up. She was our rock, and she always will be.
