Paul Wah Teong Ng, Sr.'s Obituary
Paul Ng, Sr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we share the story of Paul Wah Teong Ng Sr.’s life and his peaceful passing on June 7, 2024 at 97 years old.
Paul was born on June 29, 1926 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Kemp Young Ng and Kam Uhn Chang Ng. Growing up in Kaimuki with five brothers, he graduated from St. Louis High School, enrolled in College Prep classes and held various jobs, including a cashier at NK supply store, car salesman at Pflueger and manager at Golden Duck.
Paul’s life was enriched by his loving family. He married Mildred Ku?ualoha Naeole on June 4, 1949 at Kawaiahao Church. Together, they built a home raising their children Leona, Milicent, Paulette, Kisha, Kathy and Paul. He supported her Waikiki floral business by handling flower deliveries.
A proud veteran, Paul served in the Army during WWII.
Beyond his professional and military accomplishments, Paul found joy in gardening, walking around the neighborhood and taking care of his beloved pets. He was a valued church member of Ka Makua Mau Loa.
Paul found joy in modest ways and was known for his sweet and straightforward nature. A steadfast believer in God, he was selfless, always willing to lend a hand and look out for others. His nurturing spirit and candid demeanor cultivated a life most like a delicate flower -- simple and beautiful.
He is survived by his 6 children, 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. We invite all who knew Paul to join us in sharing memories and celebrating a life well-lived. Your presence, thoughts and prayers are deeply appreciated as we honor his legacy.
