Pedro Santos Ramirez Jr., affectionately known as “Uncle Jr.,” was born on February 26, 1944, in Manila, Philippines. He passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 80.
Pedro Jr. was previously married but did not have any children. However, he held a special place in the hearts of his 34 nieces and nephews, the children of his four brothers, Rey, Paquito, Oscar, and Cesar, and his six sisters, Adoracion, Perla, Remedios, Aurora, Clarita, and Elizabeth. Pedro was named after his father, Pedro Baltazar Ramirez Sr., a World War Veteran and Chief Petty Officer. His mother’s maiden name was Carmen Santos. Pedro had a diverse range of interests, including basketball, car detailing, and admiring beauty pageant queens. He dedicated most of his professional career to working at Duty Free in the Honolulu Airport, where he maintained a well-groomed appearance and consistently strived to present his best self. Pedro Jr. and his brother-in-law, Eduardo, were the best of friends before he began dating his sister, Clarita. Pedro Jr. spent majority of his adult life on Oahu, Hawaii. He moved to Las Vegas in the early 1990s. but he eventually moved back to Hawaii to spend the remaining years of his life.
Urn burial will be held on Saturday, March 08, 2025 at 2:00 pm, Mililani Memorial Park Cemetery.
