Phillip Stephen Massie, 79, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026, at Queen’s Medical Center – West Oahu.
Born in Long Beach, California, to James and Helen Massie, Phillip devoted his life to service, family, and the sea. He proudly served his country for 30 years
Phillip was a devoted husband to Eva Massie and a loving father to Maria Hauschild, Mary Christine Cristobal, and Virgilio Cristobal. He was also a proud grandfather and great-grandfather who cherished his family deeply.
He enjoyed golf, cribbage, crossword puzzles, and spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered for his strength, integrity, wisdom, humor, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.
Phillip’s legacy of service, love, and dedication lives on through his family and all whose lives he touched.
