There are so many memories of this beautiful and special lady. Aunty Piria always showed up. She had the biggest heart in the world. She was spunky and would say it like it is. She was funny and would make us laugh and learn with her life lessons. WHAT YOU THINK YOU DONT HAVE TO EAT?!!! YOU HAVE TO EAT. YOU LIKE STARVE? NO, YOU GOING EAT as she prepared something for you to eat. ❤️ She made sure you were fed… oh my goodness she made sure you were fed lol. Even if you JUST ate, she would make you eat again and that was because she wanted to make sure that you never left her house hungry. She was her own feed the children movement lol, and it was done all out of love. If you tell her NO THANK YOU AUNTY, I NOT HUNGRY… she would say WHY, YOU SHAME? NO BE SHAME and then I swear she was speaking in French so I had no idea what she was saying, but I knew that it was all in the name of love. We were raised with the Kaanoi Ohana. Aunty Piria didn’t drive, but was always there. Aunty Piria and Liana showed up when my son Kaden passed away. I was devastated, but took solice in the fact that they were there. Aunty Piria and Mindy came to my wedding ❤️ She showed up… ALWAYS! I love and appreciate every way that you have touched my life. I love you with all my heart and soul 😘❤️

What a beautiful and lovely lady willing to share of her harvest of breadfruit, papayas, mangoes, and whatever fruit she planted from her home. I remember her making pancakes from Waianae UMC kitchen in every 1st Sunday of the month. You are missed dearly lady Piria physically, spiritually and emotionally.
With love and prayers until we meet again, Manase & Mele
Madame Piria(4th wife)
There was another thing about you, like Madame Dadopey, the wife that showed herself the most during the last days of your life. Like Madame Dadopey couldn't find the bathroom in the house you lived in for 50 yrs.
David.
MADAME Piria "Not the best! Not the worse! But just right!"
Your Tane David.
Madame Piria (3rd wife)
There was another thing about you like"Mariah"the strong wind in the song. Madame Mariah could blow your head off if you got out of line. And with a stern eye, stare you down. Madame Mariah showed herself often, at a snap of a finger, that sent us running.
"Not the worse, but just right!"
Your Tane David.
Oh! Piria, My Beloved Wife, the most beautiful Woman in my world. The center of my Universe, the One I love the most.
Soon I will be laid next to you, we will ride this spaceship Earth to the ends of the Universe. In death there is no sense of time, judgement day comes in an instant, till then we will meet again. And hold each other tightly, For Ever!
All my love! Your Tane David.
Madame Piria (5th wife)
Finally: There was still another part of you that was Madame Babie. The little one that needed me to hold her hand as she crossed the streets of life. As of late I had to hold her hand even more tightly as Madame Babie wandered more often across the streets of life. And finally, the God of our fate released my hand from her and took her to a better place. As Madame Piria said often, "To Heaven".
Not just right, but the best of Life!
All my Love! Your Tane David.
Madame Piria (Curie)
There was something about you, so smart and witty like Madame Curie. that says things like "Sa Fe Mai" for Safeway, the supermarket or "Po Po Ya" for Popeye the fast food restaurant and "I may not be right, but I am never wrong." "Not the best, but just right." I'm sorry to say, this was the first part about you, to pass away over a year ago.
Your Tane David.
Madame Piria,
I tell people I got married one time, to Piria Marama, but that I have five wives. I named my five wives. Number one wife, Madame Piria Marama, the one I love the most and married. The wife that is loved by all. The one that is loving and giving. "Not the best, not the worse, but just right."
All my love! Your Tane David.
