Ralph Uyema Obituary
Ralph Yoshio Uyema, 94, of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away on January 2, 2025. He was born on November 3, 1930 in Honolulu and was a Korean War veteran.
Ralph is survived by sister-in-law Sonoko Uyema, and his many nieces and nephews from the Uyema, Nakamura and Furushima families.
He is also survived by his extended family – Ronald & Kay Gibo, Audrey Gibo, Clifford Oshiro and their families.
Ralph was preceded in death by his long-time companion, Nancy Gibo and her children Joyce Oshiro and Larry Gibo; Parents – Sonosuke & Kamato Uyema; Brother - Tsutomu Uyema, Sisters – Edith Furushima, Winifred Nakamura, and Muriel Uyema.
Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel.
Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m. and service at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Mililani Mortuary Park Cemetery.
