His work took him to Chicago, Saipan, Japan, and Korea, and he retired after 38 years with Hawaiian Tel.
Ramon loved life and was frequently heard saying at the choicest of moments, “Ah, this is the life!”. He loved recording all he found precious, on super 8 film, then on 35mm cameras and finally on digital memory sticks then creating slide shows that will be appreciated for generations to come. Ramon found joy and beauty in so much: blooming water lilies, family, food, culture. He loved fishing and shared this love of the ocean and seafood with his children. His passion for travel took him to five of the seven continents, not once but multiple times. He travelled the world visiting the existing ancient, engineering, and natural wonders of the world.
Ramon was man of integrity, hard work, kindness, and patience. He instilled in his children the love of God and family.
