Ron and I have known each other since we were kids (back when he was (Ron Espinosa) and at some point we lost contact. We found each other again after Navy Boot Camp and again while we were both stationed at NAS Whiting Field. Ron in VT3 and myself in VT2, as fate would have it we again went our separate ways and once again several years later we got re-united in Millington, TN while attending "A" school in the Navy. Then again went off in different directions. Many years later we re-united through Facebook and have stayed in touch for the last several years. Although over the last 40 or so years we've lost and found each other many times, Ron is by far my oldest friend. Ron is the only person other than family members that I've known longer than I've known my wife. Although I haven't seen Ron in person since the 70's, he still remains my oldest and one of my best friends ever. I will truly miss Ron and will often carry him in my thoughts as I have for a long time now, but again, as fate would have it, we've remained friends but lived worlds apart.
