Ray Blaise Ah Sing, known fondly as Ray to his friends and family, passed away peacefully of natural causes on May 26, 2024, in Goodyear, Arizona. Born on July 29, 1928, in Hilo, Hawaii, Ray's life was marked by his unwavering kindness, generosity, and courage, traits that endeared him to all who knew him.
A proud U.S. Army veteran, Ray B. Ah Sing dedicated 28 years of active service to his country. His commitment to duty was mirrored in his devotion to his family and the community that he built around him. Ray's post-military life was filled with the joys of retirement, which he spent surrounded by family, friends, and his beloved dogs, Keoni, Nalu, and Kai. He was renowned for being the best tour guide and providing lodging at the whimsically named "No Way Jose Hotel," a testament to his sense of humor and hospitality.
Ray was preceded in death by his beloved wife Geri and his cherished daughter Andrea Naomi Palomaris. His legacy continues through his loving family, including his sons Aaron B. Ah Sing of Texas, Claude (Kathy) Ah Sing of Buckeye Arizona, and Jim (Deborah) Palomaris of Michigan; his daughters Raelyn Smith (Marc Franco) of Colorado, and Charyl (Dave) Hurst of Big Island; his sisters Agnes Ordillas and Betty Lou Melanson of California; as well as his 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of wonderful friends accumulated over the years.
Ray B. Ah Sing's life was a testament to the values of service, family, and community. His kind and generous spirit, coupled with his bravery, not only defined his character but also inspired those around him. His stories, laughter, and wisdom will be dearly missed, but his influence will live on in the hearts and memories of his family and the many lives he touched.
As we bid farewell to Ray, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a journey completed with honor and love. His was a presence that brought light and warmth to every room, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Ray's family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this time. He may have departed from this world, but his spirit remains an indelible part of our lives. Ray Blaise Ah Sing's story is one of a life fully and joyously lived, and though he is no longer with us, his legacy will continue to inspire us every day.
Ray was deeply loved and will never be forgotten. His legacy will live on in the lives of those who knew him and experienced his faithful passion for his God, his Family, and his Country. He truly made a difference to all our lives.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel.
Visitation begins at 9:00 am and service 10:00 am.
Burial 11:00 am at Mililani Memorial Park Cemetery.
