Regina Gagalac's Obituary
Regina Udarbe Gagalac, age 86, of Wahiawa, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026.
She was born on September 7, 1939, in Magsingal, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, to Gerardo Udarbe and Feliza Resuello Udarbe. Regina pursued her education with dedication and graduated cum laude from University of the East in 1963 with a degree in Business Administration.
In 1974, at the age of 35, Regina immigrated to Hawaii, where she built a life rooted in hard work and perseverance. She worked as an accountant and later as a realtor, earning respect for her professionalism and dedication.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Regina—lovingly known as Mom—found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved traveling to Las Vegas, where she enjoyed trying her luck. She was known for her fashionable taste and her love of jewelry, always carrying herself with elegance and style.
Regina will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and the warmth she brought to those around her. She lived a full and meaningful life, touching the hearts of family and friends with her compassion and gentle spirit.
She is survived by her husband, Fabian Gagalac; her sons, Charles Gagalac and Alex Gagalac; her daughter, Grace Tolentino (married to Joseph Tolentino); her two grandchildren she adored, Jace-Lynn Tolentino and Shyne Tolentino; and her siblings, Dionisia Burgos, Valentina Haq, and Benjamin Udarbe.
She is now reunited with her parents, siblings, and her son, Alexander Gagalac.
Her family will continue to honor her legacy through the love, values, and memories she leaves behind.
