Regina"Rena" Ramirez Kahihikolo, 78, of Waipahu, Hawaii, passed away on April 11, 2023. She was born on April 15, 1944 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
She was a security clearance officer with over 20 years of service with various Hawaii military bases, starting as a GS-7 and retiring as a GS-10. A sport enthusiast, Rena could be found enjoying sports on TV and in person. She also had a talent for music, from harmonies with her sisters to playing & teaching piano to neighborhood children.
She is survived by daughters, Ah Lin (Sandra Wong) Ceballos, Ah Lan (Edwin) Esteban, Mei Lin "Kehau" (Makaila Purdy) Kahihikolo-Purdy and Miriam Kanaeholo; brothers, Richard (Carmen) Ramirez and Franklin (Bay) Ramirez; grandchildren, Keoni, Kilihau, Keahonui, Paulina, Franchesca, Ember, Gabrielle, Isabella, Kamakaila and Lehuanani, Marques, Jordon; great-grandchildren, Brayzdon, Ku'ualoha, Ah Lan, Trinity, Maluhla, Ericxander, Zenon Cyrus, Serenity, Jaetin, Krislyn, Kacilyn, Tiani, Rylee, Rory, June, and Emilia.
Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023 at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel. Visitation begins at 5:00 pm, and service to follow at 6:30 pm.
