Dear Soo family I send my deepest condolences to you and your family for the loss of Richard Soo. To me he was a mentor to me at The Papkolea Fire academy. I want to thank him for his knowledge he has passed on to me and the other students. He took time out of his day to volunteer and help people that wanted to be in the Fire department. He impacted me and taught me to be the person i am today. I appreciate all that he has done and given to me and other students. He will me missed but never forgotten. I just finished the most recent Oahu Fire Prep Academy and it has helped me and my class a lot in our pursuit of firefighting as a career and lifestyle.
