Roberto Soriano Espiritu's Obituary
Roberto Soriano Espiritu, age 75, of Waipahu, Hawaii, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025, surrounded by his family’s love. Born in Pangasinan, Philippines, on December 13, 1949, he grew up with strong values of hard work, humility and kindness.
In 1970, he moved to Hawaii, where he built a life rooted in hard work, wisdom and love for his family.
After working as a painter for many years, he retired from Jade Painting Inc. Known for his dedication, leadership, and ever-present smile, he touched the lives of many through his kindness and generosity.
He cherished every moment spent with his family and took great pride in his role as a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Family was always the center of his life. He is survived by his beloved wife, Leonarda; sons, Derick Espiritu and Albert (Julie) Espiritu; Daughter Leslie (David) Sagucio; 11 grandchildren: Isaiah (Alyssa), Dayton, Jadelyn (Andre), Devin, Sedrick, Chelbi, Derren, David III, Dasan, Tiara and Taylor; and 2 great-grandchildren: Ariyana and Akoni.
His legacy will live on through the love he gave and the lessons he taught. He will be remember for his hard work, gentle heart, and the joy he brought to all who knew him.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 09, 2025 at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel.
Visitation begins at 9:30 am and service 10:30 am.
Burial to follow, 1:30 pm at Mililani Memorial Park Cemetery.
