Rodney Gordon Jose's Obituary
Rodney “Skippy” Gordon Jose passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on December 18, 2025.
Skippy was born on August 26, 1941, to Anthony and Lilian Jose. He was the youngest of three children and is preceded in death by his sister, Barbara.
Skippy proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, an honor he carried with pride throughout his life. Following his honorable discharge, he worked as a telephone line repairman with Hawaiian Telcom for over 30 years before retiring. He was a hardworking and devoted man who took great pride in providing for his family.
Skippy had one son, Scott, who was truly his pride and joy. He was also a loving grandfather to Tatum and Sicily. Skippy was well known for his love of hot rods, and when he wasn’t working on cars, he enjoyed being an avid hunter.
Skippy is survived by his beloved son Scott (Donna); his grandchildren, Tatum and Sicily; his sister, Cindy Camacho; and many nieces and nephews in Guam and throughout the mainland United States.
Funeral services will be held on January 23, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.
Burial services will follow on January 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
