Roman Daoang Obituary
Roman D. Daoang, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home in Waipahu on March 22, 2024. He was born on March 29, 1930, in Laoang, Ilocos Norte, Philippine Island he loved dearly. Roman was preceded in death by his parents, his sibling Mauro, and his loving wife, Ruth. His children survived by him: Sons George (Valarie) and Andrew; daughters Ruth (Dennis), Ramona (Tim), and Donna (Terry); 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Roman proudly served his country as a Korean War Veteran, with a dedicated career spanning the Marines, Air Force, Air National Guard, and Army Reserve. He was an accomplished aircraft mechanic, a job he performed with skill and passion. A funeral service to honor and celebrate Roman’s Life will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Mililani Mortuary (Makai Chapel). Visitation will begin at 9:30 am, followed by a service at 10:30 am. Lunch will be served at 11:30 am, and burial will be at 1:30 pm. Roman will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will forever live on in our hearts Rest in love, Roman D. Daoang.
