Ron was so supportive of Women Veterans. He and I testified together on bills supporting women vets. I really feel that he is irreplaceable. I will miss him terribly.
I was a member of the Hawaii Women Veteran’s Task Force first convened in 2014. Col Han was instrumental in it’s great success. We now have a full time coordinator one of whom focuses on women vets. The task force is now a subcommittee of the Advisory Board to OVS. We had successful conferences as a direct result of his help.
To the Han Ohana,Sorry for your lost. Ron will be missed. Ron had a special heart for everyone. Especially for his wife Teri and his daughter and son. He always put others first. When I worked with Ron at OVS, I always had to remind him to make time for himself. Ron was just a compassion, loving person, to everyone. Rest in peace Ron, you will be missed!!!To the Han Oahana, please take care of one another. Our deepest sympathy, From Richard and Cindy Ruiz
May heartfelt condolences echo the silence left by Ronald's passing. He was a man marked by unyielding tenderness and exceptional intellect, marked forever in our hearts. As Sunday school students at church, comrades at Norton AFB California, neighbors in Mililani Mauka - every corner of life was graced with his warm character and deep faith. He bridged military ranks with ease and embodied Christ’s love alongside Terrylyn. Though now he rests with the Lord, his memory remains! I salute you, Colonel Han!
