Ronnette Eiko Tsujiguchi's Obituary
Ronnette "Ronnie" Eiko Tsujiguchi of Haleiwa passed away peacefully at her home on April 4, 2026, at the age of 84.
Born in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, Ronnie was the beloved daughter of Richard Takeo Takahashi and Queenie Elizabeth Keohookalani Kauwalu. She was a devoted wife to Lawrence "Larry" Tsujiguchi, who preceded her in death, and together they built a loving family and a lifetime of cherished memories.
Ronnie is survived by her children: Lane Tsujiguchi, Leland Tsujiguchi, Lana Tsujiguchi, and Lara (Steven) Sennett. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Taylor and Mason Tsujiguchi, who brought her immense joy.
She is also survived by her beloved sisters, Gwen LaSpina, Gayle Racette, and Esther Cazimero, and her brother, Lance Takahashi. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard Takahashi Jr. and Reginald Takahashi.
Ronnie dedicated many years of her life to serving others through her work. She helped her husband manage the Sea View Inn restaurant in Haleiwa until its closure. She later worked at Turtle Bay Hilton as Assistant Manager of the Palm Terrace and played an instrumental role in opening and managing a new Japanese restaurant there. Her career eventually led her to the State of Hawaiʻi, where she worked as a social worker until her retirement.
Ronnie found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved listening to classic artists such as Lou Rawls, Engelbert Humperdinck, the Bee Gees, and The Temptations. Her home was always a gathering place for family, whether for holidays, birthdays, or simply sharing stories and laughter together.
An animal lover at heart, Ronnie cared for many pets throughout her life, including dogs, birds, and turtles. She even had a special fondness for the feral chickens that wandered outside her home.
One of Ronnie's favorite pastimes was traveling to Las Vegas with family. She especially enjoyed playing the Konami slot machines and treasured the time spent making memories with her loved ones. Her laughter, warmth, and sense of fun made every trip unforgettable.
Ronnie's love for her family was the center of her life. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and devotion that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved
