Rosalie R. Guzon of Mililani HI, passed away in her sleep and peacefully went to be with the Lord on August 4, 2023. She was 80 years old.
She worked as a TSA agent at the Honolulu International Airport in the late 1980s and a technician for the U.S. Department of Agriculture in the mid-1990s. She loved gardening, most especially planting her favorite flower-roses, and enjoyed taking care of her pets. Rosalie loved the Lord and was so faithful in reading God’s living word on a daily basis. She was a loving and supportive wife. She was a proud mother of seven children and a grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She and her husband Billy worked tirelessly to provide opportunities for their kids. She would proudly boast about all seven of her children’s success in life.
The loss of her husband Billy a month ago was a very painful and heartbreaking experience for her. Her family grieves her loss, but they take comfort knowing that Billy and Rosalie are together again with their oldest daughter Marilyn Grays.
They are survived by their son Eddie Mar (Colleen) Guzon, daughter Ashley (Reinaldo) Echevarria, daughter Estrelita R. (Gregory, Jr.) Rice, son Billy (Rhonda) Guzon Jr., son Robert ((Jacxine) Guzon, and son Jeffrey (Coriann) Guzon; brother Rafael Reyes. Jr., sister Lolita Reyes Perez (Virgie), sister Rufina Reyes San Diego (Margie), sister Rebecca Teresa Reyes Jenkins (Tessie), sister Maria Elizabeth Reyes Alvarez (Beth), sister Jeanette Reyes Topsana, brother Michael Reyes, brother George Reyes, sister Phelia Reyes Ona, brother Arthur Vincent Tedtaotao, brother Rajkard Milton Tedtaotao brother James Williams Tedtaotao, and sister Julie Tedtaotao Acfalle.
Memorial Service Will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023 at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel. Visitation begins at 5 PM and her celebration of life memorial service to begin at 6:30 PM.
