ROSING "ROSE" TAKAKI, 87, of Aiea passed away on February 16, 2023.
Rose was born on October 20, 1935 in a plantation camp North of Pahala called Maula on the Big Island of Hawaii to Hannah Kahele and Marcelino Sesson. She graduated from Hilo HS and Leeward Community College. She worked at Waimano Training School and Hospital and later retired from Kaneohe State Hospital.
She is survived by brother Milton (Verna) Dacalio and Garciano "Ciano" Sesson; son Tracy (Evelyn) Takaki and daughters Nadine (Dylan) Grace and Deonalee Naboa, six Grandchildren and three Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by husband Moses Takaki Jr. and son Miles Takaki.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 8, 2023 at Kawaiaha?o Church (957 Punchbowl St., Honolulu, HI). Visitation 9:00 am, funeral service 10:00 am. Committal Service 1:00 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. No flowers.
