Rosita Sanico Casupang's Obituary
Rosita Casupang Obituary
Rosita Sanico Casupang, a Proverbs 31 woman to all who knew her, completed her vibrant journey on Earth on November 17, 2024, in the Moanalua Gardens home she and Ramon build for their family. Born to Conrad and Consuelo Sanico in Honolulu on March 26, 1938, Rosita infused her 86 years with love, laughter, and a zest for life that was truly infectious.
Rosita, was the cherished wife of Ramon Calderon Casupang for a remarkable 65 years. Together, they built a legacy of love and family. She is survived by her husband, their five children: Edward (Linda) Casupang, Collette (Michael) Anderson, Joseph Casupang, Ramona (Yolanda) Casupang, and Dean (Shelly) Casupang, eight grandchildren Rena (Dennis) Garcia, Rhaeshaud (Kalia) Perryman, Ikaika (Naoko) Casupang, Marissa Torres, Mariah (Abe) Andrews, Christian Torres, Dilan Casupang, and Ryson Casupang, along with her great-grandchildren Cade, Chansen, Chase, Leotaro, Sierra, Josiah, Kawaiola, and Hayden, and her brother Richard Sanico.
A proud graduate of Farrington High School, Rosita's spirit of diligence and dedication shone brightly throughout her career at the Coca Cola Bottling Co. in Mapunapuna. Her colleagues knew her as a woman of integrity and kindness, always ready to lend a hand or share a word of encouragement.
Rosita's life was a testament to the power of faith and family. She was a faithful woman who cherished her relationship with God, and her love for her family was the cornerstone upon which she built her life. Her service to others was a reflection of her generous heart, always seeking ways to uplift and support those around her.
Her passions were many, and her talents were diverse. Rosita's love for music was evident to all who heard her sing karaoke or play the ukulele with a gift of harmony that could only be described as heavenly. Her baked goods, rich with butter and love, were a testament to her belief in the joy of sharing. Rosita's laughter was a melody that resonated in the hearts of those she touched, and her ability to make others feel welcomed and at home was unparalleled.
Rosita was as tough as she was tender, a strength forged in the company of her four brothers. Yet her tenderness shone through in every act of kindness, every gentle word, and every thoughtful gesture.
An adventurer at heart, Rosita's love for travel took her to five of the seven continents, not once but multiple times. Each journey brought new experiences, new friends, and stories that she would share with sparkling eyes and animated recollections.
As we remember Rosita, let us carry with her a piece of her indomitable spirit. In the words of Helen Keller, "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all." Rosita lived by these words, embracing each day as a precious opportunity for adventure, connection, and joy.
Today, we celebrate Rosita Sanico Casupang, a woman who lived life to the fullest, with a heart that was always open and a spirit that soared. She leaves behind a legacy of love, a melody of memories, and an example of a life beautifully lived. Her story does not end here, for she has left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her, and her light will continue to shine in the lives of those she loved so dearly.
