It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Ryan D. Carranza, 36, of Wahiawa, Hawaii on October 27, 2024. He was born on March 3, 1988 in Wahiawa, Hawaii.
He is survived by mother, Rosita D. Carranza; sisters, Prima (Wayne) Alvarez, and Beverly (Helder) Lay; brother, Jessie (Rubina) Daniel; niece, Alyssa Alvarez; nephews, Christian (Damienne) Alvarez, Elijah Alvarez, Blayne Alvarez, Traivan Lay, and Rory Lay; grand-nephew Cobe Alvarez and grand-niece, Ellara Alvarez.
Preceded in joining the Lord is his father, Primitivo Carranza.
Ryan is a loved son, brother, uncle, and caring friend that many would turn to. He was selflessly devoted to his family and close friends. Ryan prioritized happiness in life and shared his positive outlook with others. Fishing is his favorite pastime; his fondest memory was fishing with his dad. Gone too soon, memories of him will be cherished always. His is missed and forever loved.
Prayer service will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel. Visitation begins at 10:00 am and service at 11:00 am. Burial to follow, 12:30 pm at Mililani Memorial Park Cemetery.
