Sadie Yee Gouveia 99, of Honolulu, a retired telephone representative for Hawaiian Electric Company, passed away on October 2, 2018 at Palolo Chinese Home. Sadie was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Alfred (Cabby) Gouveia and son, Harold S. Gouveia.
Sadie had a strong love of God, family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and for many years was a member of Makua Alii. Sadie was an exceptionally kind & gracious woman, who will be greatly missed and forever loved & adored by her Ohana.
Sadie is survived by her son, Ronald Gouveia (Patricia), eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law and many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
The family would like to thank the family members and friends, many who traveled great distances, who visited her while she was at Palolo Chinese Home. Many other loved ones sent words of support and encouragement that were greatly enjoyed and appreciated. A very special mahalo and aloha is extended to Sadie's loving and devoted niece, Irene Wong.
Visitation will be 9:30 am Monday November 5, 2018 at Mililani Memorial Park's Downtown Chapel (20 S Kukui St, Honolulu, HI 96813) followed by memorial service at 10:30 am.
