SAKUMI “SA” TASHIMA
93, of Honouliuli passed away peacefully in Honolulu on December 9, 2021. He was born in Kalopa and grew up in Pahala on the Big Island. He was a hard worker and retired from Hawaiian Isle Enterprises. He enjoyed doing home projects and tending to his prized orchids and garden. His handmade creations brought many hours of joy to his children and grandchildren.
Survived by his children; son, Dean (Lori) and daughters, Noreen Kenjo (Alfred) and Susan Main (Rob); three grandchildren (Catherine, Erin and Robert); sisters, Nobue Oba, Michiko Ota, Lynn Tsuji and Ellen Callo. Preceded in death by his wife, Lily; brother, Paul and sister, Mutsuko Fukaura .
