Sam dedicated many years of service as a Shipwright Foreman at the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. His keen mind contributed to the strength and safety of the shipyard.
Outside of his professional life, Sam was an avid fisherman. His love for fishing was not merely a hobby but a reflection of his childhood. Sam's friends and family often reminisced about the tales of his ocean adventures and the fish that were—and sometimes weren't—caught.
As we bid farewell to Samuel Kailewa III, we reflect on a life lived. While Sam may have set sail on his final voyage, his memory will be carried in the hearts of his loved ones.
