Samuel was born in Laoag City, Philippines on July 26, 1953. The family arrived in Hawaii in 1963. He attended Helemano Elementary, and graduated from Leilehua High School in 1973. He worked for United Parcel Service (UPS) from 1976 to 2010. He was always proud to say that he was one of the first drivers to start with UPS when the company started on the island. Sammy’s second family was the UPS “guys” whom he worked with, and truly LOVED. He was a man of very little words, but his actions would speak for him.
After retirement he enjoyed going to Vegas, caring for his grandchildren-taking them to and from school, and spending time with his family.
The Celebration of Life will be celebrated at a later date
He is greatly loved and will be missed.
